Who Am I

My exact name and identity are pretty much irrelevant; however, I do feel that it is both necessary and proper to speak a little of myself before proceeding forward with being a public writer. I am choosing to be a somewhat anonymous writer for no great reason in particular other than I want to keep some distance between me and whoever happens to read what I write. Also, in the unlikely situation that I happen to gain any serious following or attention from anything I write. I would like to be somewhat detached from any following, more specifically, the attention I may get from a following.

I am currently a university student who is studying politics, however, my interests are a bit more diverse than that. My writings will be predominantly centered around politics, a little philosophy, some history, but predominantly things will be centered around politics. I suppose from time to time if something outside of that is of enough interests to me or if I can relate it back to politics then I will do so. In general, I do enjoy reading a variety of literature, not just bland political, philosophical, or historical related things. A general appreciation for the arts which of course includes literature but I do find that I especially enjoy anything related to politics.

I am a bit of a smart ass and from time to time I will probably ask you to stop reading one of my articles for a few moments so that you can search something on Google. This will be done somewhat out of pure laziness but I am attempting to make a point by doing so. That point is that information is highly accessible and readily available and, in my view, there is really no good reason why you should be ignorant of things. Another thing which is extremely accessible is books, specifically, I am speaking of e-books and sometimes even audio books (for those of you with reading disabilities a.k.a. being stupid). Also, to make a similar point with Google and that point is that information (in this case books) are highly accessible and if someone has the desire to then they can choose to be very well read and self-educated.

I shall try and write an article at least once a week but you should go ahead and expect me to not stick with that. However, it is a goal I will try to stick with but if something is of interest to me or is in my view especially important then I will take more time to work on it.
