How Bahubali influenced my life?

From a very young age I have adopted movies, short films, documentaries and other videos to be my primary medium of gaining knowledge.

In the past 10 years or so, after having crossed my teens, my interest in movies has deepened. This led me to re-watch movies which piqued my curiosity to understand what the director truly wanted to portray. I would watch them again and again till I found the truth, the underlying message. It was the yearning to enjoy these moments of epiphany that made me a persistent type of critic. I define myself as persistent as I have yet to become an expert who can discern the hidden meaning in the first screening itself.

With this context, now let me now explain to you why Bahubali — part 1 and 2 have been so influential in my journey of hopefully one day becoming a successful critic.

I shall keep editing this to ensure that I note down all the reasons why I felt Bahubali was ground-breaking for Indian cinema, a movie that hopefully inspires the next generation of Indian directors, writers and cinematographers.
